Distribution Boxes

A distribution box is a plastic structure that has a number of openings. Septic pipes fit into the openings. The distribution box has a cover because it will be buried under ground.

The septic distribution box is part of the conventional drain field system. It distributes the effluent (wastewater) evenly to the effluent field (leach field). The most common way to make this work is through the use of gravity. As effluent flows out of the tank, it travels a short distance into the distribution box. The box, handles the effluent by sending the wastewater into various effluent lines or trenches.

100mm Distribution boxes are no longer a stock item and have been replaced by our range of even flo units. When ordering please detail if you want left or right hand (looking up the drain).
